Weird Village
2009 AD, Europe is occupied by ordinary folks. All of Europe? Not quite. A few scattered loonies offer resistance. Buskers Berne succeeded in contacting some of them and is gathering them on the Münsterplatz into a village. The goal is to create the world according to their own taste in a befitting backdrop.
The village awakens at 6 pm with figures, robots and viewings that give insight to the other side till midnight.

When children and adults fight over toys, it’s either Christmas or Guixot has stopped in town. The duo collects what others throw away and uses the objects to create fantasy sculptures to play with. Fun for all ages.

They emerged out of the 19th century fairgrounds, are always moving, moving on, collar and suit still stiffly starched. Play in their show tent or put on your ice cold hand at the Hospital from Hell. It’s grandma’s fairground resurrected, colorfully staged for our times.

Some of the organ’s pipes are rusty, some rise many feet into the air like dead smokestacks. Hot flames induce the cold steel to start singing. The warm sounds of nature grow, crescendo, moving to a threatening finale engulfed by banging flames. A fiery fugue.
