Buskers Bern Association

Summer in Berne is wonderful. More and more Bernese enjoy their vacations on the Aare, while tourists come from all over the world to admire our famous "old town". Cultural offerings, however, have not always kept pace with the increase in visitors. For years, there was no annual summer festival such as most Swiss cities present to their citizens and guests.

But now, for the last five years, there has been such an event, the exhilirating, lively, and successful Street Music Festival Buskers Bern!

Your contribution will support a not-for-profit event with wide-ranging attractions for a large and varied public. You will encourage the imaginative work of music, theatre, and other arts professionals presented right in the middle of town and their public, thus adding another dimension to Berne?s cultural and touristic attractions.

As a member of Buskers Bern Festival, you will help make the annual festival possible and will regularly receive information about future plans and artists. Ahead of the next Festival, we will send you the program and Buskers-bracelet and shall invite you to join us for the VIP opening on the Münsterplatz.
